Paul Horwood

Principal

Paul is a career insurance professional with 15 years of leadership in claims, underwriting, and broking both in Australia and in Canada. He excels in driving operational efficiencies via analytics, process streamlining, training and outsourcing. With extensive experience in many aspects of the insurance industry, Paul is the driving force behind Preferred Insurance Staffing and it’s customer centric approach.

Rechele Gonzales

President

Rechele is a Registered Nurse in Australia with a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Nursing. She is a board member of PDMSI, a dialysis center in Naga City and Techsearch International Corporation, a family-owned and Manila-based recruitment agency specialising in Saudi placements. Recognised as a leader in both the Philippines and Australia, Rechele’s focus is to bridge the cultural gap and foster collaboration between the two countries.

Paulene Brito

Operations Manager

Paulene has been involved in various organizations, honing her leadership skills. She began working in the life insurance industry as a Financial Agent, gaining foundational knowledge about insurance. Additionally, her work at a Virtual Assistance Agency provided her with the experience of working with foreign clients, where she learned to adapt and gain insights from diverse cultures.

Horwood

IT Manager

Raymond has a background in Computer and Electrical Engineering, coupled with over a decade of business management experience leading teams of up to 100 individuals. This blend of technical and managerial expertise allows Raymond to effectively oversee the IT department, ensuring that Preferred Insurance Staffing remains agile in the face of evolving data protection and remote access challenges. 

Lemyver Bigal

Human Resources Officer

Lemyver holds a degree in Human Resource Development Management and is also a Certified Human Resource Associate. With years of experience in the HR field, she has hands-on experience on various HR operations, including recruitment and selection, performance management, organizational development, and compliance.

Ela Alcantara

Training and Compliance Officer

Ela has been immersed in the insurance industry from a young age. Raised in a family of insurance professionals, she started her career in the industry at Manulife for over two years. Holding a bachelor’s degree in political science, her legal background has enabled her to excel among her peers in both technical & legal matters. Ela is passionate about sharing her knowledge and insights with aspiring insurance professionals.
